Biophilia expert Dr. Tim Beatley, an instructor at the University of Virginia School of Architecture, is offering a free webinar on biophilic city design.
Partnering with the Maryland Department of Planning and Smart Growth Network, Beatley’s virtual lecture will outline the “essential elements” of an ideal biophilic city. In addition to ways to implement biophilic elements in urban design and planning, Beatley will also explain how these changes benefit the surrounding community.
Beatley’s webinar Bird-Friendly and Biophilic City: Integrating Safe, Natural Habitats into Urban Design and Planning will be available on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020, at 10 a.m. PST. Those interested in attending can register here.
