Prior to the pandemic, coworking spaces were all the rage. Now, having implemented frequent cleanings and the use of sanitization equipment, those working remotely have another option for a distraction-free environment.

Kiln, a coworking company based out of Utah, recently expanded its workspaces out of state. The company’s new location in Boulder, Colorado opened on Oct. 22 and includes a theater, cycling and treadmill desks, cafe and podcast studio.

The new facility also has a hospital-grade HVAC purifier able to kill viruses in the air and on surfaces, as well as micro-ionizers that work to keep rooms clean throughout the day. Due to the pandemic, there will be temperature check-ins for staff and members in addition to “other proactive measures.”

“Kiln’s blend of natural materials, biophilic design, art and furniture collections were assembled to resonate with Boulder’s rugged mountain town vibe,” Arian Lewis, co-founder and CEO of Kiln, said of the new location’s design. “While best serving the dynamic tech community with purposeful, thoughtful and creative design.”

Kiln’s Boulder location was built by repurposing seven older buildings already onsite and bringing them together. Learn more about Kiln’s new location here.
