As the light at the end of the COVID tunnel gets closer, businesses and developers alike are looking to the future with one word in mind: biophilia. Social distancing and sheltering-in-place have taken their toll on everyone, and as we adapt to coming back together green trends will play a major role in everyday life.
While working from home has its fair share of pros and cons, businesses are hoping to have employees back in the office by spring. With a new focus on employee wellbeing, office plants and green trends in decorating will become a norm.
“Hopefully with vaccines now being rolled out, there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel. And a return to in-person office networking is looking likely for the spring,” an article by Nature at Work said. “So more than ever, companies are going to have to work hard to entice their staff back into the office. Business owners will be looking to make offices more attractive, more comfortable, healthier, more like home.”
