The conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (HCI) will be holding a webinar as part of the upcoming ACM CHI conference in May 2021.
The workshop, “Speculating on Biodesign in the Future Home,” is part of a series on the future of biodesign in the discipline. A previous workshop examined how interactive systems would look in a “guided and grown” environment instead of one that was built.
“In this workshop, we explore how previous work may be extended as home and workplaces overlap,” a description of the webinar on the Biopolis Project site explained. “The outcomes will deepen our understanding of interactive biodesign systems with meanings attributed to home and work.”
