Chicago’s new Fulton East office development was recently completed, with developers hailing it as the “first next-generation, post-COVID 19” workspace. The building boasts a number of tech and biophilic features to boost employee productivity and wellness, respectively.
Twelve stories high and 90,000 square feet, the all-glass building is nestled in the city’s Fulton Market District.
“From the beginning, we designed Fulton East as a ‘well’ building with principles of biophilic design,” Bob Wislow, CEO of Parkside Realty, explained. “When the pandemic hit, we did a quick pivot during construction and researched how to complete Fulton East as a safer, healthier workplace and improve the quality of office environments for the future.”
