Being restricted to their homes has helped many people realize just how important their surroundings are. For those working remotely, it was a matter of finding a functional (and quiet) area to work. For others, it was a matter of using interior design trends to maintain a positive and somewhat productive mindset.

As the focus shifted to arranging spaces, interior design trends were referenced – the most popular of which leaning toward biophilia. As the first month of the new year draws to a close, we’re seeing how much endurance the biophilia interior design trend has. A recent article from the Inquirer.net highlights other trends for the new year including DIYs (what with all the extra time we have), repainting rooms and bringing in new appliances.
