To build a home is one thing, but to do so while ensuring sustainability is another. Bill Browning, an established presence in the green building industry, is a long-time advocate for sustainable design.
Through his work as the co-founder of the design firm Terrapin Bright Green, he’s worked on various projects featuring different styles of design, with emphasis on sustainability and biophilia. In a recent episode of the Serenbe Stories podcast, Browning alongside Terrapin colleague and director of projects, Catie Ryan, discuss biophilia and its influence on design. A prominent example of large scale biophilic design the two had a hand in developing was the community of Serenbe itself.
