As the principal of Chatt Hills Charter School, Patrick Muhammad is constantly thinking about the kind of world he and other adults are leaving to the next generation. Through the school’s three-tier curriculum centered on the arts, agriculture and environment, he’s giving students the fundamentals of education and life.
The community of Serenbe has supported the school, which is local to them, since it was founded. In a recent episode of the Serenbe Stories podcast, “Principal Farmer” Muhammad joins the hosts to discuss his students, the way the school’s outdoor programming has improved their health and their recent increase in test scores.
